About Our Teams
Anderson MTB is a middle and high school mountain bike organization associated with NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) and the South Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League. Anderson MTB includes three middle and high school mountain bike teams, Anderson Composite, Powdersville Bombers Composite, and T.L. Hanna. Our goal is to enable any 6th-12th grade student in Anderson County, SC to strengthen body, mind, and character through the lifelong sport of cycling.
Anderson Composite Mountain Bike Team was formed in 2016 and has athletes zoned for T.L. Hanna and Westside High Schools. They competed in Georgia's NICA league until the South Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League was created and first held races in 2020.
The Powdersville Bombers Composite Mountain Bike Team was formed in 2020 and has athletes zoned for Powdersville, Easley and Wren High Schools.
